Alice outfit pictures can be seen at:
SOLD

A little "Alice" for my Volks 60 cm "Kun"

A Little "Alice" inspired from the coming movie is finally finished and
I also finished the original story!  A great read from Literature.org.
More original "Alice" looks for the smaller BJD on the way
and I also think there will be one for a Himstedt.  Keep looking!
There was even time for making some Cranberry Orange Bread today!
Anyone wanting the trusted recipe let me know!

Snow Day

I took a "Snow Day" and didn't sew today!
I am looking forward to adding Kim Lashers
dolls to my collection of models and I also
am on the lookout for a Annabella from Kaye
Wiggs. I would love to hear from doll
collectors as to what kind of designs they
would like to see for their dolls.  I'm including
a picture of my Kish Little Lady Lark in the snow!

Todays sewing is for my 60 cm BJD "Kun"
What a pretty girl she is! I am facinated
at the moment with Alice in Wonderland and
she is going to be getting my version of a
dress from the new Movie.
My helpful tip for today is when you drafting
your own patterns use a light weight interfacing.
It is economical. You can drawl on it, sew it to
check fitting, make folds for darts.
Once you have your pattern and you know your seam
allowance sitch the pattern pieces with a 100 needle with
out thread. This will make a nice copy on your printer for
future use of your pattern.
Happy Sewing from Charlene

Sini Himstedt in Winter Wonderland

Celebrating Winter Sini is modeling my "Winter Wonderland"
outfit designed and made by me. I have enough fabric to
fill 2 more orders before this design goes into my archive!

Just is time for Christmas!
Lots of tissue paper, don't throw it out!
If it's still straight you can cut strips and use it as a stabilizer
for button and buttonholes! Makes your buttonholes look
professional by helping your sewing machine feed better!

**using this tip will mean a lot less tearing out of buttonholes!
